I'm back! Did you miss me? I missed chatting with you all here. I will be short and sweet today (Momma says I always am!) because I am a little under the weather. I have had some tummy trouble and spent yesterday visiting the vet. I am eating special food (it is delicious!) and taking meds, and hope to feel 100% again very soon.
I took some time off from blogging to relax and enjoy summer with my Momma. On August 25th, I had a special day -- my 7th birthday! I just wanted to share a few photos with you.
Momma dressed me up in a pink ruff. It is very frilly and girly, and I liked it!
On my birthday I had company and a tiny slice of cake and some exciting gifts (toys and treats). It was a very happy day!
Here I am thinking some deep thoughts in between all the fun:
And then back to fun again:
I have a new frog toy that I love very much. He makes a good lovey to cuddle with.
I'm looking for fun questions and topics for upcoming Friday posts, and I would love to hear any questions or topics that you have in the comments, below. I hope you are having a good week!
Love to all,

In the chaos of New York, true love can be hard to find, even when it’s been right under your nose all along…
Love has never been a priority for garden designer Frankie Cole. After witnessing the fallout of her parents’ divorce, she’s seen the devastation an overload of emotion can cause. The only man she feels comfortable with is her friend Matt—but that’s strictly platonic. If only she found it easier to ignore the way he makes her heart race…
Matt Walker has loved Frankie for years but, sensing how fragile she is beneath her feisty exterior, has always played it cool. But then he uncovers new depths to the girl he’s known forever and doesn’t want to wait a moment longer. He knows Frankie has secrets and has buried them deep, but can Matt persuade her to trust him with her heart and kiss him under the Manhattan sunset?
Sunset in Central Park is the second book in Sarah Morgan's From Manhattan With Love series. I read Sleepless in Manhattan earlier this year and really enjoyed it.
This is the story of Frankie, a hard working garden designer who is cautious of serious relationships because of her parents' painful divorce. Her friend Matt is seriously interested in her but doesn't want to scare her away.
The New York settings in this book are delightful. I felt a bit like I was taking a leisurely trip to Manhattan through reading this novel.
I liked Frankie and Matt a lot and wanted them to find happiness. Matt is such a sweet, sincere character, and I love the way the romance developed at a leisurely pace. I have to add that I also really like the way Sarah Morgan writes friendship, and I enjoy the strong friendship between the three women in these novels.
Sarah Morgan's writing is so fresh and upbeat. This is another of her fun reads that would make a perfect weekend read or vacation book. Recommended!
USA Today bestselling author Sarah Morgan writes lively, sexy contemporary stories for Harlequin.
