Throwback Thursday - Mr. Bubble

Did you know that January 8 is Bubble Bath Day?   I read this and immediately thought of Mr. Bubble.

Mr. Bubble was bubble bath for children.  It came in pink boxes - and better yet - also came in cute plastic containers that would later serve as a bank.  I loved this as a little girl.

The product Mr. Bubble was invented in 1961 by the Gold Seal Company.   It was marketed originally in drug stores.  The Mr. Bubble advertising character, as seen on the old boxes, was created in the late 1960's.

The funny thing is, I have the most sensitive skin imaginable -- nothing scented, ever.  And yet I used this as a little girl.  How is that possible?!

I also found a fun old commercial to share with you:

Do you remember Mr. Bubble?  I'd love to hear from you in the comments, below.

This reminded me of my favorite: Tinkerbell colored bubble bath sachets. Smelled so good and colored the bath water.
