Nostalgic sounds for Halloween Night!

I love these vintage record albums -- Scary Spooky Stories by Troll Records is spooky stories for children from the early 1970's, and the Chilling Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House record is by Disneyland Records from the 1960's. We had a record like this when I was growing up -- it's fun spooky sound effects for kids. Takes me back!

Vintage Car Dealer Prints

These vintage car prints are really fabulous! I have a wonderful stack of these that I am listing separately on eBay. Some depict 1961 Ford Thunderbird cars, and the others depict 1961 Oldsmobile Classic 98 cars -- 5 different models. The Oldsmobile prints are especially intriguing, because each car is parked in front of a Mid Century Modern building -- beautiful to look at! I just wanted to share a few of the photos with you.

Victorian Scrap Art

One of my favorite recent finds! I am having great fun learning about Victorian scrap art. Some of these are trade cards, and some are not. The images are charming. I love the pictures of the children sleeping - or playing - inside the petals of flowers like little flower fairies. The robin red breast bird is also lovely!

Too sweet to resist! The Santa with a frame of toys is a 1914 Bergman postcard.

Christmas Putz House Village - Vintage and Fabulous!

This beautiful vintage Christmas Putz House village was great fun to photograph and research. I believe this is 1920's to 1930's vintage (angular church, Coconuts style snow on roofs, bottle brush trees, red cellophane/gold trim windows). I just had to share the photos with you - I think it is a beautiful set and perfect for a nostalgic, old-fashioned Christmas.
