Vintage Halloween
I love Halloween. It is one of my favorite holidays, in the middle of one of my favorite seasons. Nothing evokes Halloween for me quite like great vintage Halloween decorations.
I recently listed this huge lot of little vintage Halloween jack-o-lanterns. They are little nut cup sized plastic pumpkins. Some are rigid plastic and some are the more pliable (older) plastic. They are really, really cute.
Currently having a bidding war on these (yay!) and had to send a few photos.

Fun with Dick and Jane
One of my favorite things to find, research, and list -- Dick and Jane books. I have some beauties up this week. Have to also include a photo of a 1950 vintage Scott Foresman math game that I found. Two more boxes of vintage readers to list. Some of these photos were too great not to share, though!

Everybody Loves Cute Animals - on Valentines!
My wonderful faithful blog readers will know that one of my favorite things is vintage Valentines. I especially love animal Valentines. I'm going through a huge estate lot of vintage ephemera and scanning and listing cards this week. There were a few 1940's - 1950's vintage cards that are just too cute not to share. I especially love the little photo Valentine that features a cute puppy dog lifting a kitten up to mail a card. Very sweet!

Claudius and J.R., Two Special Dachshunds
I would like to introduce two special Dachshunds who are great friends to my family.
Claudius is the sewing Dachshund. He creates amazing handcrafted Dachshund items, like the Christmas tree skirt and afghan pictured, despite the help of his parrot siblings, Willis and Petrie.
J. R. Ferguson is 21 1/2 years old Dachshund but doesn't have the paperwork to prove his true age. Some of the books for auction are the end of J. R.'s collection as he is no longer actively selling on Ebay.
Claudius and J.R. sent some special Dachshund goodies for me to sell at auction to help with ongoing vet bills for my Dachshund Barney Fife. Claudius sent handcrafted items, and J.R. sent a big box of beautiful vintage books. What great friends they are! The doxie goodies they shared are all available at the link below:
