Dear Friends,
It has been a very busy week here, but I wanted to say "hi" and send a fun video for you to enjoy.
I have a sweet little video for you today. Meet Arvo, a longhair dachshund who wants to take a nap -- along with a teddy bear. Arvo works hard to get the teddy bear to fit into the kennel. I love this video! I think Arvo was very smart and determined.
I am determined like that when it is time for bed. I go to bed most nights at 10:00 PM and wait for Momma. Occasionally I will go look for Momma if she is in the study and remind her that it is bedtime. (She rarely goes to bed that early - but I do try!)
I would love to hear from you in the comments. If you have pets, have they ever done something surprising because they were very determined?
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Love,
Abby xoxoxo
that is hilarious. What a character. My dog was a bulldog, so she didn't do anything too exciting...mainly just slept and snored!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute video. I used to have a cat who would drag his "blankie" around with him until he found a cozy spot to take a nap. It's funny how pets have their comfort items like humans do. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable video! I've never seen a long-haired dachschund before
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I just watched my Taffy dog drag a chair across our deck to get to a lizard. She is VERY determined when it comes to lizards!
ReplyDeletelol! I felt like I was rooting for him the whole time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! I love videos like this. Sucha special thing to have!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, love reading your Dear Abby posts, and watching videos here. Always puts a smile on my face!
ReplyDeleteThe video is too cute! I love dogs.
ReplyDeleteAwe so cute! Too bad the bear is so big and wouldn't fit in there. Our smaller dogs used to love all of my stuffed animals and would sleep on them or around them all the time.
ReplyDeleteSomehow, our dog got out of his crate when we were out. We found him in lounging in a laundry basket. Asleep.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting! I enjoyed reading your determined dog stories too.
ReplyDeleteLove,

We had a Yorkie who loved a stuffed seal. She went to great lengths to take her seal around the house, but nothing quite as cute (that I can recall) as this Dachshund and his teddy bear.
ReplyDeleteDetermination is our dog's middle name lol! He has a backyard kennel and no matter what, he finds a way out - especially when fireworks start hitting the sky.
ReplyDeleteI think Arvo needs a bigger crate. He and Teddy are likely cramped.
ReplyDeleteDear Friends,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
Beth, I agree about a bigger crate for Arvo!
