Music Monday - "Rain" by The Beatles (1966)

I have always thought that "Rain" by the Beatles is one of the band's great underrated songs.  This was originally released in 1966 as a B-side to "Paperback Writer."  It was inspired by the strong rains the Beatles saw in Melbourne, Australia, when they were on tour.   This song was on the great Hey Jude album (maybe my all time favorite record album).  Here to listen and enjoy - whether it is rainy or sunny where you are:

Love the Beatles? What are your favorites of their songs? Any other Beatles songs that you consider underrated?  I'd love to hear from you in the comments, below.

  1. Wow, I've never heard this Beatles song before. I really enjoyed listening to it & it is perfect for a Monday. I do love the Beatles I feel no matter how much time passes everyone can still enjoy their music & it is still on trend. Great post! ;)

  2. Some things are timeless, like the Beatles

  3. I don't know if I've ever heard that one before and I thought I was an expert on all thing Beatles! I've begged my daughter to name her first son Jude so I can sing "Hey, Jude" every time I see him. She hasn't had kids yet, but I have my fingers crossed. :)

  4. Hi all! Thanks for the comments.

Alli, I love the name Jude!

  5. I have always loved the beatles! Just perfection!
