Throwback Thursday - Cracker Jack Prizes
Did you love Cracker Jacks as a kid? I did -- the caramel corn, the peanuts -- one of my favorite treats! Most of all, of course, I loved the prizes in each box. I remember they came in a paper packet and you got to tear the packet open to see what was inside.
My favorite prize was always the tiny little dollhouse-size books. How about you? What Cracker Jack prizes do you remember? And which ones were your favorites? I'd love to hear from you in the comments!
Great throwback!! I don't really remember my favorite prize, but I still buy a box from time to time and always seem to get baseball stickers. I love it. lol
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't remember the prizes. But I DO remember always being disappointed in whatever I received. I usually gave the Cracker Jacks to my dad to eat. He loved them...especially the peanuts.
I'd forgotten all about these! I don't really remember the prizes very well. I think I remember getting stickers? Now I'm craving some! (and I never really loved it all that much taste-wise, but I still loved getting them!)
I don't remember eating these back in India but I sure remember other such goodies that always had stickers, toys etc to tempt us kids :)I am @ http://denimsanddresses.com/
Thanks, y'all! I appreciate the comments. I haven't had Cracker Jacks in a while and didn't realize the prizes are now stickers. That's not much fun! I loved the little plastic trinkets and tiny books from my childhood years. :-)
I forgot all about Cracker Jacks and the prizes. Yum. I always remember loving it, though. I honestly can't remember any of the prizes.
