Daily Vintage - A Visit to the Children's Zoo Little Golden Book

 As a little girl, Little Golden Books were my favorites.  I still feel a thrill when I find them out and about to list.  It really brings me joy to photograph, share, and research them.  

Today's Daily Vintage is A Visit to the Children's Zoo, a Little Golden Book from 1972.  It was written by Barbara Shook Hazen and illustrated by Mel Crawford.   The illustrations are so super cute.   I especially like the Storybook Land type pictures, like the one below.  (Do you remember Storybook Lands as a child?  I loved them.)   This sweet book is from Birdhouse Books:  A Visit to the Children's Zoo.
