Hi all!
Yesterday my plans went awry due to something out of my control. Don't you hate it when that happens? I had planned to have a listing marathon, and my eBay listing program (Turbolister) crashed. I had to reinstall it and get it personalized again ... and there went the day! Although I love Turbolister, it seems to crash on me a few times a year. I don't know if it has a problem with a larger database of items? I am grateful to have it going again.
Today I plan to make up some time by photographing 70 books to list! I want to get all these books up by the end of the eBay's free listing promo on 3/31. After photographing, I will research (for price) and then start listing.
I also have some packing to do today.
Wishing you a wonderful day!!
I often sabotage my own best plans, Trish so I certainly understand your frustration when your plans go astray and not because of anything you did.
ReplyDeleteI used Turbolister years ago but after some struggles with updates (I think) I gave up. I list so limitedly at auction now that I schedule auction items using eBay's schedule program and pay the fee or, if I happen to be sitting at my computer the evening I want them to go live, I remove the scheduling function and list them manually, with all the work done.
An aside, when I clicked your blog post from Facebook, I read your post but could not comment. When I pulled up your blog from Google, I could once again read the post but this time I could comment. Something about Networked Blogs, I expect. Wonder if the same thing is happening on my posts.
Brenda
Hi Brenda, thanks for your comment! I sometimes schedule eBay listings when I will be out in the evening -- it is a wonderful feature.
ReplyDeleteDespite the Turbolister stability issue, I really like the ease of inventory management, and especially using templates for types of items I list frequently (i.e. vintage Valentines, children's books, etc.).
Sorry about the blog posting issue through Facebook. I would be glad to check to see if I can post on one of your blog posts from FB, if you would like. Please just let me know which page to look at or a link.
Sorry to hear TL gave you fits yesterday. Been there! Still without Turbo Lister and Art of Books I could never list. They are like my right arm.
ReplyDeleteHave fun today, ya know Vintage Children's is my favorite!
Suz
Thanks, Suz! I hear you about Turbolister -- I think it is invaluable when you are listing 40 - 100 items weekly.
ReplyDeleteThese vintage children's books are great -- I have a first American edition of one of the Narnia books (need to research!).
Hope you have a great day and great sales!!
